    I didn't see it as bigger either, but definitely brighter.. I didn't know there was supposed to be anything special, but the night before the full moon, and on the full moon, I was noticing the moon more. It drew my attention but I didn't consciously think about it.

    Super Moon 2013

    Looks like we have another "super moon" occurence tonight (Sunday 23rd).
    This will be the closest perigee full moon of 2013.

    Last night I saw the white disk right above my head, but tonight it looks indeed bigger. Last night there was a halo, if that is the correct technical name for what I saw, surrounding it at some distance, not really close to the moon but quite away from it. Pity I lack a good camera.

    I hopped on the scale last night hoping that the maximized gravitational pull from the supermoon would tug me lighter, but it didn't seem to help much.

    I'm a little confused? Super Moon on May 5th? Here is is June and the super moon graced the Dog Park on Saturday the 23rd. Is this post skipping and I lost track?

    Sorry for the confusion, I was trying to save the Earth by recycling my super moon thread from last year.
