I have to admit that I don't know what's going on in that picture, Free. Care to tell me?

Sorry to get in between but I would say that the pasted picture on the top right corner must be the time traveler, and I assume that the pasted picture below must be the time machine (looks a bit like the time machine in the movie adaptation of the homonym novel by H. G. Wells, starring Guy Pierce). Now, the original painting is this one: http://www.rubylane.com/item/394971-...chool-Portrait (author unknown, apparently) and the time machine must be a sort of GIF or PNG image that hasn't been properly processed (you can see the transparencies around the edges, but a white background around the inner parts of the machine, which is a recurrent habit by people who have never done much image processing throughout their lives, and we can imagine why - because it demands a lot of hard work to eliminate inner backgrounds and still manage to make the resulting picture appear genuine). All that said, I conclude that the above picture has been exclusively done as joke

Usually I go straight to posting whatever new song I've thrown out, which I'm still gonna do, BUT I figured I'd show some of my other enjoyments I do as well. I'm still sorta getting used to using a digital medium for drawing and what not, and if cartoons aren't totally out of the "in" now:

After a hellacious week we went out to Mexican and a goodly amount of Tequila. As such I'm buzzed enough to post one of my more recent efforts: Fallen Snow... a sort of twisted take on the relationship between Snow White and the "wicked" stepmother:

Haha. I like your assessment. Jokes are fun. I posted this picture as an April Fool's joke. I proclaimed it my best work ever and listed it for $5,000...

A friend of mine had this to say about it: "It's like the push-and-pull between the philosophies of Sartre and Camus finally broke upon a page. I'm speechless."

I love twisted fairy tales. I like the softness of your figures and the pretty blues of their eyes. The colors make me think of a scene in a Dario Argento film. I'm so happy you imbibed and shared something with us! Very glad you included the close-ups. What's the medium? Pastels? Do you mind me asking what kind of sealant you use, if any?

    Thaaaaaank you.

I have so much catching up to do here. I'm not sure what is going on anymore. I think we are venturing into comical propaganda?

So, Varenne, did you ever get that $5,000?
