Not much of an artist but here are some crummy digital artworks I made in my very early teens:

Pen tool, photo manips, smudges, CD4s etc.

I just realized that this is all the art I have ever made since I popped out of my mom's womb. I already feel embarrassed! Perhaps I should stick to literature and math, where at least I have hope, lol!

At last something from Max. I like the logo very much and the angry red of the third scene. All the scenes are rich in details but how can we differentiate between friend and foe aircraft? And why CMG?

The font you've used for Latin motto was used in my institute's cultural fest. It's a good choice. I'd suggest you to develop a video game along side your sci-fi epic because I need both. Novel for myself and game for my nephew.

I think they are pretty good pieces, each in their own style, but whether you go on at it or not may only depend on how much you need to do visual stuff. I mostly do what I do because I've found I need it, regardless of whether it can be deemed artistic or not.

What's falling between the rocky formations in a ball of fire and violet blood is a Mephisto's Raker (foe), and to the left of its violet blood there's a General Constellation AAG-3 Arbalest (friend) dogfighting with another Raker. Above all that and a bit to the right, there's a Condor EAC-9 (friend, and the boxes with front holes below its wings are CNT-38 micro-missile launchers). The one on the top left corner firing a missile is a Condor EAC-9 Shadowcaster (also friend, variation of the aforementioned). The other three to the right are also enemy Rakers. I should already have tech specs pictures of all those, but you've already heard of my everlasting time constraints They'll hopefully be ready sometime soon though.
Both EAC-9s and AAG-3s are operated by the UERF (United Earth Resistance Forces) during Earth War I and the preceding regional wars. The EAC-9 is developed by my company, CMG Air and Space. The AAG-3 is developed by General Constellation, the other company within my story and somewhat a rival.

CMG stands for Castle - Morgan - Galway. I would be Maximilian Castle (later to be known as Lt. Maximilian "Cloudstrummer" Castle), chief designer and test pilot. Mary Ann Morgan is a rich visionary and idealist who inherits her late father's fortune and intends to give it a purpose. I am denied further contracts because my country's government feels that my foresight of an imminent holocaust for humanity has become obsessive. They say that my overly futuristic projects consume too much money and resources. Mary Ann offers to fund my investigations, becomes my associate, and we both move to Galway (Ireland), where she owns an abandoned facility that we refurbish and turn into the company's European subsidiary. A mild background to the story that comes after.

Mind you, I'm even planning a long-running TV series that will gather zillions of fans throughout the galaxy!

And follow three scenes that comprise a prequel to the main story, with their corresponding basic textual explanations:

This is fantastic, Max! I love sci-fi! Your logo is super cool and I really like all of the light and fire elements in your scenes. Keep going with this.

School is important, of course. When I was in college, I barely did any artwork. Scribbles in my notebooks here and there, stick figure comics. I find that creative people never fully lose their love of creating, and will return to it again and again. Definitely keep posting your stuff here. It's great to get it seen.

Adolescent, I like a lot of what you have there. Don't underestimate yourself. You obviously felt the spark to make colorful dynamic artwork from time to time. Don't let it go. When you make more stuff, post it here. We're a pretty thoughtful and friendly bunch. The first photo in your post is my favorite of the group.

Mephisto's Raker! Sounds quite evil. Good job regarding names.

Thanks for the explanation. You've got quite a good background there. Hope you'll complete it in near future.

Thanks for the encouragement, Var! I try to keep finding the time not to completely abandon the visual arts. Makes me feel a little better when I get to do something visual

Evil it is, and there're two more that look even more menacing!

I always thought of you as a really nice guy. Never imagined so much menace is lurking inside you.
BTW, it's not really that terrifying...'cause I am the aliengirl.
