Everybody has resolutions, some that we change from time to time and some that change us forever in our lifetime. So, what's yours for this coming new year 2013???

Has anyone actually ,made a NY resolution that changed them forever? I'm just against this whole change your life once a year until you hive up after two weeks.
I wrote a poem on a leaf and it blew away...
New Years resolution? I wanna read On The Road while either drunk or high? Will that count?

This is fantastic. And so attainable.
Mine however, might be less attainable... It would be to quit drinking wine (which means all alcohol) for the year and finally finish writing my first novel. It seems that when I drink I only manage to write poetry or short, fragmented prose works. This novel of mine has been sitting in a state of abandonment for the majority of the past 3 years. I am beginning to fear for its well-being. The pages have grown visibly ill, and the sentences have developed a nasty cough. This must be the year!

Mine would be to write faster and sharper. If that means anything haha.

it is just that

Write more.
Actually finish one of the innumerable writing projects I have on the go..?
"I should only believe in a God that would know how to dance. And when I saw my devil, I found him serious, thorough, profound, solemn: he was the spirit of gravity- through him all things fall. Not by wrath, but by laughter, do we slay. Come, let us slay the spirit of gravity!" - Nietzsche
Long ago I made a New Year resolution that I have kept faithfully to this day. It was to give up making New Year resolutions.

1)This year I want to become the transvestite Empress of the universe!
2) I shall erect my poetry into gianT-sinFul-scuLpturEs on all the street corners of all the cities of the world!
3) I shall have sex with all the great words of all the languages on Earth!
4) I shall make contact with all the extraterrestrials in the universe with my poetry!
5) On live television I will address the world in my great transvestite empress-of-all-the-universe costume, and declare the human race my slaves, and I shall put all six billions of the human race to work erecting a gianT-eveRythiNg-pOetry that will be signed by me!
6) And all willing women of the world (& men) shall experience the great literary prowess of my phallus-pen!
7) Then I shall turn the English language into a giant temple of sin!
Those are just some of my New Year's resolutions. I'll let you know the rest later.

Wow Wolf. As I suspected, you're not really giving the rest of us much creative freedom of expression after all are you? I knew it was all about your ego. Next time you post a point of view, don't use the word 'we'. Happy New Year!
