Thank you, Pensive! I'm working today, but I did have a nice birthday breakfast this morning

I'm well enough, but my computer broke down almost a month ago, so my internet time has been very limited (plus I just spent over a week at a scout camp, where I had no internet access at all)

    Happy Birthday!

    An interview with Annamariah:

*Why are we doing this interview thing?*
    Because I'm getting old!

*Are you sure you want to do this?*
    Sure, why not

    Why would you want that?
    Why wouldn't I?

    *So, how old are you?*
    24

*If you had a personal theme song what would it be?*
It would have to change from day to day, since I could never settle on just one song.

*Are you male or female? *
Female, which should be pretty obvious.

*If you could build an entire planet from scratch, what would it look, sound and smell like?*
I'm pretty happy with this planet, I mean how it would be if people took better care of it.

*If you owned the site, what would you change?
    *

Navigating the site could be a bit easier with a few better placed buttons, but otherwise I think the site is pretty good as it is.

*What was the inspiration for your LitNet username?*
It's just a combination of my first, middle and last names.

    *Which countries have you visited?*
    Sweden, Denmark, Estonia and UK.

    *Which languages do you speak?*
    Finnish, English, Swedish and Russian.

*What is the last thing that you have done that you have been really proud of?*
I think I did a good job at the scout camp last week, even though I knew only a few of the children to begin with and slept very little during the camp.

*If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?*
I'd live in my own apartment instead of the student apartment I'm living in now. I like my home city Helsinki very much, though.

    *Do you have any pets?*
    No. I'm allergic to animals.

    *What makes you happy?*
    Good company.

*What's your favourite song for singing in the shower?*
It changes from time to time. Usually it's something I've been singing in the choir lately.

*Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?*
My life would make a terribly boring movie.

    Who is your favourite Beatle?
    I don't have one.

*How do you like your coffee? *
    I don't drink coffee.

*Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?*
Maybe something which could fly? Or breathe underwater? Or preferably both, if there ever was such a thing

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
    A kindergarten teacher.

*What's the biggest fish you've ever caught?*
A small one with a fishing pole about 20 years ago. Maybe 15 cm?

*What makes you feel great about yourself?*
    Succeeding in something.

*How did you meet your significant other?*
    I never did.

*What was the best day of your life?*
I can't name the best day, only some good ones. The last night of the scout camp was pretty good, for example.

*What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)*
I have a good memory and some musical talent. Apparently I'm somewhat intelligent too. Learning new things has always been easy for me.

*What is the one thing you must do before you die?*
    Be happy?

    *Is there a selfless act?*
    I think so.

*If you had to teach something, what would you teach?*
    Probably English or Finnish.

*What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?*
It would suck to be unhappy for one's whole life.

*If you were to be stuck at a particular time in your life, which one would you choose and why?*
I was pretty happy in upper secondary school. I had friends and I enjoyed school.

*Do you get tired living life?*
    Sometimes yes.

*Do you have a tasty recipe for life that you could share for a reasonable price? … Is it REALLY tasty?*
I'm allergic to most edible things and don't cook much.

*What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?*
Well, my life has been much improved by heavy medication (my skin is now much better which makes my life much easier), but that only works if one is ill

*What one thing would you NEED to have on a deserted island if you didn't have to worry over food and water? *
    Company.

*If you were a king/queen for a day, what would you do?*
One day would be too short a time to change anything, so I'd probably just enjoy a life of luxury for a day.

*What’s the stupidest forum argument you’ve ever had?*
I'm trying hard to stay out of the stupid arguments.

*What song is in your head at the moment?*
The theme song of our scout camp which ended on Sunday.

*Which book are you reading at the moment?*
    Fire by Kristin Cashore.

    *What is your favourite quote?*
I'm really bad at choosing one favourite anything.

Which comedians or cabaret artists do you like?
If you mean stand-up comedy, I don't really know much about the whole genre.

    *Favorite avatar on the Forum?*
It changes (and people keep changing their avatars too!)

    *Favorite threads?*
    The girl thread

    What's your favorite sandwich?
    I'm allergic to bread.

*What is your answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything?*?
    42?

Who were some of the nicest people you met on LitNet?
At times I've been talking with Pensive more than with any of my "real life" friends. Apart from her there are a couple of others I've been in contact with outside the forum

*What are you wearing at the moment?*
Dark blue jeans, a dark blue scout t-shirt and a boys' button down shirt with a blue square pattern.

    *Favorite poem?*
I'm not much into poetry, apart from song lyrics.

*First novel you remember reading on your own?*
Can't remember, it was almost 20 years ago! I learned to read when I was 5 years old.

*What era do you find most of the books you read are from?*
Most are modern, but few happen in the present.

    *Favorite TV shows?*
Downton Abbey, House M.D., The Big Bang Theory, Top Gear, Mentalist, Survivor, ANTM... to mention a few.

*Which Forum members would you like to meet in person?*
I really hope I'll finally get to meet Pensive soon

*Last words you said out loud?*
"Kiitos, hei" (thank you, bye) to a customer (I work at a call centre and write this in between customers).

    *Last person you hugged/kissed?*
Either my father or my mother.

*What do you do (for a living) to be able to keep your LitNet addiction going? And are you happy with your chosen profession?*
As I said, I work at a call centre. I hope I'll get to be a translator one day, but at the moment it's an economical impossibility.

*Would you rather be an educated fool or an ignorant fool?*
If one is a fool anyway, what does it matter?

*What would you like to be if you could change your profession?*
    A translator (or a librarian).

*Which one of the seven dwarves are you and why?*
    Grumpy?

*What is your most outstanding feature?*
If there's anything outstanding about me, it would probably be my eyes.

*If you could change one thing about the way you look, what would that be?*
I'd like to have a normal skin.

*Which book do you wish you had written?*
Something that would solve my money problems once and for all

*What book would you recommend to others of all types and ages as a must read?*
    The Bible?

*What should you be doing at the moment instead of answering these questions?*
I'm working all the time, there's nothing else to do in between the customers.

    *Describe your ideal day, please.*
No responsibilities, good company and something good to eat?

    *Favorite movie?*
Maybe Pride and Prejudice or The Phantom of the Opera.

    *Last movie you watched?
It might have been Northanger Abbey.

*How are you going to pick just one favourite painting?*
I've got Queen Blanka by Albert Edelfelt on my wall. I can't say it's my favourite though, but one of them anyway.

Do you want to buy a banana?
    No, I'm allergic to bananas.

    *Favorite painting?*
    Read the answer about Blanka.

    Bowie, yay or nay?
    Nay.

    *Wonderful Superman or depressing Batman?*
    Batman!

*Something you want to forget but you never can?*
    Most of my life?

If you could relive one moment in your life whenever you wanted to, what would it be?

A happy one. Don't know which, though.

What is the best thing that happened to you since your last birthday?
Since my last birthday... Well, I got a steady job, though it's not a very good one.

*If you could send one thing to the Room 101, one would that be?*
    Don't know.

*Are you mostly happy with life or are you still in pursuit?*
    In pursuit.

Tell us something scandalous about yourself.
I haven't done anything very scandalous.

*How long did it take you to answer all of these questions?*
Quite long, as I was interrupted by a customer every few seconds

    *When will you pay Whifflingpin?*
    Why should I?

*One final word of wisdom for LitNet users?*
"Don't stress, relax, let life roll of your backs, except for death and paying taxes everything in life is only for now."

*What question would you like to ask to the person to be interview after you?
What is the best birthday present you've ever received?
    ~

My life would make a terribly boring movie.
I doubt it. Plus a boring start could always take an interesting turn? no?

Thank you all I didn't have any party, but my mother baked me a chocolate cake. (With rice flour, so I could actually eat it despite my allergies )
