    Oh, have fun.

I don't let any distractions interfere with my dedication to football.

Will be at home, knitting and watching football as usual while switching between the channels.

Why, oh, why must they play simultaneously?

God I hope Italy manage to make this through, the sad thing is it depends all on spain-croatia, and due to the new system if they tie 2-2 , it doesn't matter what result Italy gets, even if we beat Ireland eight-nill, we don't go through. Nothing is worst than not having you fate in your hands.

Yes I'm not sure about the system as well. On the one hand it does make the last games exciting but is it fair? Russia went out to Greece despite having a superior goal difference by two.

All England have to do now is to draw with Ukraine, beat Spain, then maybe Portugal, then Germany in the Final - easy!

I can't decide here what to do. there are 4 equally average teams playing each other. The Ukraine will be fired up, but can England out-bore their enthusiasm.
Sweden are out, which could have a negative effect on the French and cause them to do a Holland..

So a miserly 20 on France

and 20 on Ukraine in the spirit of reverse-wish support, a-la Mark.

I think France is going to win today's game but I'm not quite sure about England (Rooney's back though).

    10 on draw England/Ukraine

    20 on France

Greece *has* beaten Germany before. In Munich, no less.

Highlights from that unforgettable match here:
