The Road by McCarthy Group Reading

Would anyone be interested in reading this book with me?

Planning to start by next Monday.

I have read it a couple of times and would definitely appreciate the opportunity to read it again and discuss it.

Yes monday will suit me. I already have a copy so I'm there, poised with the book gripped in my white-knuckled hands.

Just that imagery fills me with the urge to propose waiting, say, until Wednesday!

I'd be down to do this. Been meaning to re-read it for a while now.

I have this book now lent by one of friends who bought it abroad and I have just started reading after reading the stuff from this thread. This apocalyptic book is full of interesting accounts, though I am just beginning it I have read a lot of commentaries on this. We all are looking forward to a world like this when everything will windup in its own destruction with no hopes and dreams left to us. Maybe we are heading close by

Could you please post a "spoiler alert" if you mention anything that gives away the story.

Most of us who follow this thread have not started reading the book yet.
