Spend a little time everyday doing something that you enjoy.

Life's to short to spend it just fulfilling duty.

    Keep a dictionary handy

It makes me extremely happy to be able to laugh and be an idiot in a world with so much prescribed wisdom and misery and obvious smarts. There is nothing like sucking thumb and running away from any impediment to do it.

    177. If you aren't happy then fake happiness by all means. Anyway there's a chance you become so adept at faking it that it begins to feel real.
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.

There was this little flowchart (in Russian though, but still contained useful advice) that I think I need to share.

My Russian's not very good, but it vaguely translates to

    Universal problem solving, version 1.0

Is it very bad/Are you feeling very bad? (No) ---> Good
    (Yes!)
    |
    \/
Are yo doing anything to improve the situation? (Yes)------>Good
    (No)
    |
    \/
    Then don't whine! DON'T WHINE, *****!
If you believe even a half of this post, you are severely mistaken.

Sounds more like mischief than an attempt to fulfill duty to me!

I can do my duty too...

    Tip 3746: Do your duty.

    I duly do my duty
I'm not being smart or cutey
    And certainly not fruity
    I just do my duty.

I'm convinced of this! You've got a weird little facet to your personality, which when I see it makes me think that people were not so intellectually deprived who grew up before all the technology - dutiful and clever, too!

Tip 180 - (I think!) don't forget to check out your local amateur theatre groups.

People often do and there are a few little gems there sometimes, certainly better than being stuck in the house trying to avoid trash TV! Had a good night last night watching a good amateur production of Chekov's Three Sisters.
