What does fate really have in store for me!
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.

Have you ever gotten a flu shot? Wash your hands often and get a flu shot soon and you'll likely drastically decrease your chances of getting the flu or even catching a bad cold. If possible, you can also take around 3000mg of vitamin C spread throughout the day and it might help you stay healthy as well.

A year ago tomorrow, the journey began...
the luminous grass of the prairie hides
feet lovely and still as sleeping doves,
porcelain bones strong enough to carry a life,
    but weighty and unmovable
    As black Dakota hills.

I'm sick because I'm an idiot and haven't eaten anything today that wasn't either smothered in cheese and gravy or else deep fried. I've been my own body's enemy. Stupid.

Thanks a lot for your advice. I really distrust flu shots. My parents get flu shots every year and every year they catch a flu (or more than one). I suspect it's because I catch it first (more than once) and then I pass it to them, since we live in the same house. As for me, I've been taking vitamins for some time and they didn't help much against flus, although I admit to be feeling more energetic. Probably I have to wait for them to kick in... not very sure. My main problem is, I think, that I am everyday in an environment where I am often surrounded by sick people, as strange as it may sound but it is true

There was a little boy kidnapped in BC last week, and when people went on the news to cry and beg the kidnapper to return the kid, the kidnapper did. He just brought the kid back and dropped him off at home, completely un-raped and everything. Now they're trying to treat the kidnapper very well in order to promote more child abductors to listen to their conscious, which I think is a good idea.

So my brain is reeling from actually hearing something good on the news. The kid being returned has had a larger effect than him being taken in the first place, which is sad I guess, but it's pretty cool that he's back.
