Well, with only one choice remaining and the winner already decided, no point in waiting further. So, counting down:

    5. Yep, I've flown a few times, but not since I was a teenager. Once I'd tried a cross-country train to California, I was hooked, and I haven't flown since.

    4. Once--a tonsillectomy at age 3. Very minor, but it still involves parts being removed with a sharp instrument, so it counts.

    3. Not too long back I spent a couple of years being taught classical guitar by an uncle. I'd like to get back to that at some point.

    2. As a child I went to the local YMCA for "gym & swim" classes, and had gone through the top swimming level (porpoise) twice by the time I was done. So, quite a good swimmer at one time.

    1. (Winner, Pendragon!--though why were you talking about swimming?)

I have never learned to drive for several reasons: At the time most of my peers were learning, I had other things I preferred doing, like playing around on the computers after school (Radio Shack TRS-80s at the time). Since then, it has been due to a combination of the growing arrogance and stupidity I see from other drivers on the street (including many more distractions then when I was a child, like cell phones, MP3 players, etc.); my own easily distracted nature--I tend to take in all my surroundings rather than focus on one thing, like the road in front; the hideous expense of owning a car, fueling it, insurance, etc.; and the extensive local public transportation system that makes driving pretty much unnecessary. Yes, there are times a car would be useful, but I get by fine without one. I do have a dream car in mind, though, just in case.

    Congratulations, Pendragon, you're up.

    Hummmm...

    1) I am a fan of the "MacGuyver" tv series
    2) I am a fan of the "Charmed" tv series
    3) I am a fan of the "CSI Miami" tv series
    4) I am a fan of the "Torchwood" tv series
    5) I am a fan of the "The Closer" tv series

    Good luck!

I've only heard of the first three. I don't think you'd like Charmed. I know that you like mysteries, but I'd think your standards would be higher than CSI: Miami could offer. McGyver would be my choice, however, you've spelled it incorrectly, so either you are revealing that it's the incorrect choice by default, or you are not a fan of it, (because a fan would know how to spell it).

So, as I see it, my only options are the last two, neither of which I know anything about. But Torchwood sounds like it comes from the fantasy genre and since you have named yourself the equivalent to 'dragon chief', I can infer that you like fantasy. So I have arrived at a decision:

    Number Four, Torchwood.

Torchwood is actually a Doctor Who spinoff (note that the name's an anagram). It's good but very different, being Earth-bound, team-based, and much more adult.

I saw one episode of The Closer, and it was pretty good, so I'll pick that.

No, can't stand it, and my misspelling of McGyver is a result of being slightly dyslectic...

Somehow the actress that plays The Closer creeps me out. I don't like it.

2: As I said, too much black magic for me

3:Blech! Cannot stand this at all!

4: I really cannot stand Captain Jack and it has nothing to do with his bi-sexuality. The Doctor's living arm in that jar is also a no-no

5: The actress creeps me out.

You're up, Matthew, and would have been earlier had you followed your highly toned instincts!

    Matthew's turn!

Matt, the point of winning is to continue the game. Please? Pretty please? With sugar on top? Steak dinner? Cash? Credit Card? PayPal?

Where did I live? Meaning I moved all of my possessions there and payed rent.

    1. In a haunted house.
    2. In a grain silo.
    3. Above a theatre.
    4. Above a merry-go-round.
    5. In a Swiss ski lodge.

I like number one. I lived in a haunted house myself. Wasn't too bad, we just shut off the room where the disturbances were, and it left us alone. Now am I kidding or not kidding? You choose, oh reader!

    Number one, then Matt
