Those of you who can actually wait to get hold of a spoon before going through the jar have great self-restraint, I think!

The homemade truffle idea is quite interesting, given the actual cost of the French import, but dark chocolate and nutella do not have the same texture, consistency, or taste.

I think the nutella as recycled treat idea would be closer to graham crackers, or ginger cookies, diced banana, and mini marshmallows, because really good dark chocolate is too rich to be ingested in anything but small bites, and it cannot be over-indulged and still truly be enjoyed, not to my sense.

Nutella is not quite so loaded.

My husband is worse. When I make pancakes, he sometimes spreads nutella between each pancake and then tops with maple syrup.

    Gah!

Ever tried half-melted nutella on vanilla ice cream? It's delicious (next best thing to nutella on warm bread)

Nutella is awesome. I would love to try it in a fresh warm crepe; right off the spoon is wonderful, also.

Alas, if I eat Nutella, I notice I start gaining weight. Why is the world so cruel?

as one my best friend puts it, and it does work with everything : "nutella... is life"
Charm is the name of a beauty ignoring its own power.

On the sea, beneath it, in the air, and in all the parts of most of the lands, I have gone a-hunting in quest neither of fame nor of fortune, but the vindication of the act of living.

Oh gosh, I'm not even going to pretend I'm not crazy for it. It's made by Ferrero -- the same company that makes the irresistible Ferrero Rocher. What can you expect? :X

We nicknamed my daughter Nutella when we went to salzburg a few years ago due to her predilection for it. We nicknamed m son Stollen. I was dying to introduce them by saying:
"This is my son Stollen and this is my daughter Nutella" to anyone who would listen, but I didn't get a chance.
