Nice. 12/10 for Old Crow (I must revisit this band. I put them on the backburner for a while)

5/10 I'm not into country, but it is a good one nevertheless.

I heard this song 2 days agoo and have been listening to it ever since:COLD WAR
I liked it more then I thought I would. I thought it was going to be a ballard a la Sinead O'conner. 8/10

I would enjoy more probably if I were out at a bar but while sitting on my sofa at home on a Saturday afternoon, it is only a 4 (it gets better as the song progresses; didn't care for the opening that much).
Used to love this song while at university :leaving:
Just not feeling this so 3/10
Here's a new one

Don't worry. There's nothing there to feel. It's a cynically-designed and mechanically-executed money-making confection devoid of the slightest hint of human involvement. Which, of course, was always Mick Hucknall's dubious genius.
I really liked the early stuff from the Kings of Leon - the Molly's Chamber era. And though I thought Sex on Fire (or, as we've had to convince our six-year-old daughter who sings it at the top of her voice in supermarkets, My Socks is on Fire) was too influenced by U2, it had real energy. This one, on the other hand, is kinda pedestrian. I hope it's not typical of the album - especially as the album is being pushed so hard. I mean, primetime Saturday night ads on terrestrial TV. Someone has decided this is going to be huge.
Meanwhile, one from the actually-lyrics-matter department....
The salty lips of socialite sisters
With their continental fingers
That have never seen working blisters.
Oh, I know they've got their problems.
I wish I was one of them.
very good. i like it when the band can actually play. 9/10

Turns out I like it more now than I did then.... 7/10
From the same crop of London bands....
Shall I mourn your decline
With some Thunderbird wine
And a black handkerchief?
eh, not too memorable. 6.5/10.
