Yet I don't doubt the answer will be a resounding "yes"... After all, what isn't there to like about turnips?

 is there? :D
People are obsessed about different things....but..turnips (imagine a lot of emphasis on this word)...I have seen no use of turnip except as a salad :p
*after this expression of my innermost thoughts about turnips in the most outrageous manner, I can see Aimus coming to eat me instead of some cookies* :p
Only if your a turnip cookie or maybe a Schokokek's cookie, Maddie...:p
I wouldnt mind being Choco Cookie's cookie, but ofcourse a non-edible one..:p
Thanks Cookie!! you are lovely
just for you... http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/liebe/a055.gif
:D :D
Turnips impart sweetness to soups and Swedes when boiled and mashed with butter and pepper are delicious.
Thanks everyone who has sent in questions, can just say though weve pretty much got the turnip topic covered now so unless its an amazing question can we all think of somthing else ( I confess Im stuck myself) :p
:D Nighty,so I shouldn't send my question then!
oh send it ...Ill just have to make room in the pm box.
 I am looking forward to this interview . . . how many turnip questions are there?
Although I know of no specific literature of the humble turnip I would say that it has a long tradition of being eaten with haggis on Burns' Night so it does have a tenuous connection outside of recipe books. That reminds me I have to go out and shoot a couple of haggi this weekend!
Be careful! The last time I saw a picture of haggi, it looked like a grenade to me...:p :p
I wonder what is it filled with -- not 'humble' turnip :goof:
Why is it cooked inside the animal's stomach? (that is what I read about how its cooked) Does it add a special flavour to it?
:D
Note: Hey, I dont hate turnips, I am just teasing Aimus for his fondness for turnips. And, that he is good enough not to mind it.
