I watched The Dirty Dozen earlier today. I hadn't seen it in some time, and had forgotten how great the movie is. How can you go wrong with Lee Marvin and Chralie Bronson? 10/10

Fantastic film!!! :thumbs_up
"McHale's Navy" is on DVD?? Complete seasons? Everything is on DVD but "Maverick", "Donna Reed" and "Dobie Gillis". The three shows that I want the most. :( There are these selected episode DVD's of "Maverick", but I have no interest in those. I want full seasons.
"Premonition" with Sandra Bullock. I actually liked this movie, but the plot certainly has its' weak points. It starts out as one thing, then turns into something else, but the mood is consistently somber and searching. 7/10
"Away From Her" 9/10
This is a very powerful film about a man who reluctantly puts his wife in a nursing home after her Alzheimer's starts getting progressively worse. He visits her faithfully, but is torn when his wife falls in love with a mute, wheelchair-bound man at the nursing home.
Ae Fond Kiss - 6/10
Fast Times - 4/10
The Virgin Spring - 4.5/5
Blood Diamond -- 10/10
Kung Fu Panda - great animation, good family stuff, not as humorous as other animations but I'd give it 4/5.
Looking forward to the batman movie. Christian Bale is the best.
I have actually have never seen "Hennesey". I know it but I have never seen it. I was happy to see that they have finally started to put "Father Knows Best" on DVD.
Across the Universe
2/10
Maybe a "2". I should give it less. I will give it some sort of grade, though, because of the guy that starred in it. He was the only good thing about the movie. I absolutely HATED this movie!! I am a die hard Beatles fan. I was looking forward to this movie, but I was still hestitant because of the director, Julie Taymor. She is the woman who completely destroyed musical theater, in my opinion, with the hideous stage version of "The Lion King". There were a couple of "inside" moments in there. These were the moments that a Beatles fan would catch onto. Other than that, this had to be one of the worst movies that I have ever seen. It was boring and dull and monotonous. The only one that was any good vocally, and acting wise, was the star, Jim Sturgess. This is the first movie that I have disliked this much in a long time. I don't know what I expected from it. Maybe being such a big Beatles fanatic I thought that the music would at least make this film interesting. Not even the music was worth the price of a movie ticket. Thank Goodness I rented this movie rather than paid the full price of a ticket.
