You can't go for this name, there's already a container ship with this name Cap Finisterre which I know about because in my work I'm involved in the Maritime industry and this vessel has been subject to a major maritime incident.Quote:

1. Don't name your boat with any name beginning with the letter 'D' - this is considered most unlucky (have you read Dracula? The vessel he came over on was called the 'Demeter')
2. Avoid the South China Sea - there be pirates there!
Good luck with naming and the voyage. You could always call the boat 'Lit-net' :)

Since I have decided that I don't want to live all alone on this big boat, I'm going to get a cat. His/her name will be General Chat. I will pronounce Chat in the French way (like shot or the past tense of poop) since that is the way you say/spell cat in French.
