This is started to be annoying i've won 3 games in row but my rating is still 1200 in gameknot.com. Why?
What blew my mind is the lack of blitz. I've played mainly 1 minute, 3 minute, and 5 minute blitz games. Gameknot offers 9 minute games, but even those dont affect your rating. :(
your rating will start to change after i think five games. check the rules. but you won't win against me! :DQuote:

I like to start a game of chess; I like to win, to finish. It's this business of the middle game that can drive me crazy.
Hah, I have no end game, in fact, I have no strategy... But that is the fun part ;)
People with strategy get annoyed at my random moves and then make a simple mistake and then loose.... Although, I beat an asian dude, the president of a chess team, and then lost to a semi-retarded kid. So my strategy of no strategy does not always work very well. But it was still fun playing. I like chess, but not enough to play a lot, just randomly, like once a year, where I play 4 games or so that one time.
Bookworms, the thread started about role playing and you talk about chess, deteriorate the mind a little. THe only differences between an RPG and Reality is that the role playing game is more fun. Also you <b>have</b> to eat in reality.
Yes: chess ... 3 ways, three players.
Funny thing is this: it's so well designed that no rules need to be altered ... Beginners in Geometry only get a little dizzy with the M. C. Escher (see Wiki) looks of the design.

According to the rules, game ends when first check mate is given. But I've been discussing with a friend the possibility of the man who gives the first check mate to keep the adversary's army ... It might make sense.Quote:

Wow, this looks complicated. Have you played Libri? Are there group dynamics involved, where two people may team up and defeat the third before squaring off against each other? I used to love chess. It just takes so much time to keep sharp that I don't have time for it any more.

I have tried playing this once, but did not survive long. I love playing regular chess, and have done so since childhood, yet could not grasp this as naturally as I felt I did with chess - I like looking at it, though - very innovative! :nod:
