I know. I'm not really a Beatles fan, but I got it because it was about Vietnam. None of my family finished it.

 I love most of those movies.
Titanic still makes me cry.
Across the Universe was awesome.
And Scary Movie? Priceless.
Actually I remember finding the movie quite okay (pretty funny at places) and the kid too. Any specific reason you would like to share Bakiry to why you didn't like him? :)Quote:

Worst movie ever - Napoleon Dynamite!
I cannot stand that movie.
Super Bad and High School Musical 1 & 2 also fall under this catagory
Disagree! Thats epic! yay Napoleon! (my opinon anyhow. Everyone I know is completely divided on the topic :p)
Absolutely agree. My friends and I started to watch Superbad... and turned it off and talked after a few minutes. And reeaalllyyy not a big fan of HSM either
Depends on the target audience. My 9-year old daughter loves it.
It's the Grease story done in 2008 clothes, and I couldn't tell you in this forum how much I loathe Grease, but I thought HSM wasn't too bad. (Haven't seen enough of HSM II to comment, but sequels usually fail)
The hero's a sports star, but not even slightly brawny. In a lot of films, he'd be "the dork".
The girl is good. Talented, non-white, vivacious, and brainy - really brainy.
Nice, politically-correct mixture of ethnicities.
Huge commercial success. While commercial success makes no statement about high quality, really bad films are those which bomb and bomb loudly - A Star is Yawn, Water World, Heaven's Gate, et al, rather than those which spawn sequels, hit CDs, stage shows, ice dancing tours....
No worse than any other Disney vehicle and a lot better than some - The Mighty Ducks, anyone?
The target audience part I agree with you about, but as for Greese done over, I definately don't see that. I guess maybe that could comparison could work, but both are targeted to different audiences. So, maybe...
Haha. As for the Might Ducks comment, that is pretty terrible. They went from okay to worse with those.
My latest edition to this list is The Golden Compass. Not because I disagree with the whole atheist background stuff to it or any other fluff that went with the movie/book, but I just didn't like the movie. I read some of the book, well, got started, but it was better. I think the only part of that movie that I liked was the polar bear fight. Other than that, the only enjoyment I got out of sitting in that movie theatre watching as my $3.75 went to the trash bin was the comments that my friends and I made through out the movie.
I liked this one. The others I didn't think too much about.
I have yet to see "Superbad". Well, I am sure that you will be first in line to see the theatrical release of HSM 3 then, right? ;) I think I saw the trailer for it during "Mamma Mia". I'd heard that there was going to be a third but I didn't know that it was going to be a movie released in theaters.
I have to agree with you here, sprinks. :D Uncle Rico is great. He kind of reminds me of my brother. :p Kip is pretty good, too. Oh, it is entertains me. :D
I think I would have enjoyed Napoleon Dynamite more if I hadn't already heard every single line in the movie and seen approximately 17.96 billion "Vote for Pedro" t-shirts by the time I finally got around to watching it.
I can imagine . Luckily everyone around here was slower that that... Everyone was on about "Vote for Pedro" but very little of them actually even saw the movie or liked it! And they didn't even start going on about "Vote for Pedro" 'til ages after the movie was out so I didn't have that problem luckily :)
I just saw an ad for "Disaster Movie," another in the line of "(insert movie genre here) Movie" series. The only one that was even close to watchable was the first "Scary Movie," and that wasn't even all that good. Why do they keep making these steaming piles of crap? I guess the more important question is: Why do people keep paying to see these steaming piles of crap?
Reality Bites
Ohohohoh. that newish vegas movie with ashton kutcher and whoever. What happens in vegas or something like that, that is a horrific movie! just terrible.

I have to agree with this post. I have read all three of the books and loved them. For me the movie fell flat and it could have been a lot better then it was. I guess that is why it failed and they are not planning on the second movie which is a shame.
House of Wax was pretty bad. And anyone of the Scream movies.
i m not quite bothered to remember the names of the movies which i think they are sucks~ by the way~i have a question here to ask faye~are you a fan of faye wong ~the chinese singer?or it means something else?
I dunno about worst movie everrrr but any movie starring Jean Claude Van Damme is a torture to sit through!! (I don't think I've ever watched one until the end though).
Way way back in the 70s I went to Peter Cushing movie called Corruption. Peter had to be doing it for the money. Not even a fair suspense story of a mad doctor trying to help his wife stay young though it had a nice twist ending which was it's only redeeming feature.
the Barbie movies....
Don't judge me, I have seen them. My little sister is in love with them.
Teen Witch
Meet the Spartans, the beginning was kinda good but then it suddenly got worse and worse until i kept only watching it because of Kevin Sorbo.
(Talking about Kev, did anyone else see the Hercules' Movies? He was so great)
After all these comments, had to look up who Kevin Sorbo was...
For me, anything starring Steven Segal or Chuck Norris. Those guys make me shudder really.
One of the worst movies I've ever seen is The Village. It's just bad. I think it has the worst direction I've ever seen. The story was essentially good, but it just came out horribly in the movie. I've seen many bad movies, but this one def. stands out.
Any recent films made by the Disney Channel: High School Musical 1, 2 & 3 (because you know it's going to be terrible before it's even out.)
Of course, an exception is Recess: School's Out; I quite liked Recess as a child... Ahem.
I found Ben Hur painful...
Didn't rate the Matrix either.
The Jeepers Creepers films are BAD as far as horror movies are concerned... but it had comedy value.
Shrek 3 was disappointing...
Oh, and has anyone ever seen Black Sheep?
Too true :thumbs_up
I have to say though... I laughed quite hard at the sight of a full grown man being taken out by a flying psycho sheep.
 No, I think it's very good if you are into that sort of thing, but it's just not to my taste.
Aother stinker: Shakes the Clown
Wedding Crasher is probably the worst I have ever seen!
The Blair Witch Project. I've seen about 4,000 movies in my life and that's the worst.
