Skin on Skin ~ Queens of the Stone Age
Umbilical Brothers at work.
THAT'S what's playing.
 That was great!

Given your taste in music? No.  ...That may have come out more mean spirited than I intended, I say that with all due respect and an understanding that not everyone has to have the same taste in music. ;) Which album did you get, Virgil? The first time I heard them, I thought they were way too busy, there was so much going on, musically, it was hard to make any sense of it but then I heard Crash Into Me and was hooked. I don't know why I was able to make sense of something I hadn't before simply because of one song but everything fell into place after I heard that.
And all this talk of Dave Matthews has made me change my playlist...
Don't Drink The Water ~ Dave Matthews Band
Never heard a Dave Matthews song, Virg? If it makes you feel any better, neither have I. At least, not consciously.
Agreed. I'm with you guys. And I'd like to keep it that way, thanks. There's enough music playing in my head as it is...
Hawkwind - Silver Machine (Live)
Ripped less than three hours ago, woo....
Save Me ~ Dave Matthews
C'est imposible! Never heard a Dave Matthew's song? Blasted. The vocalist's voice and their compositions are enough to keep your ears glued.
Traffic - DJ Tiesto.
Although I would exclude Uncle Virg. His age is reason enough.
Scared Away by 1208, new band (fairly) with an ol' so-cal punk sound.
Okay, for anybody that has never heard this band before you have to asap! They are the best thing to ever come out of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
One Great City - The Weakerthans
Showing some city pride (one great city is Winnipeg's motto) it would seem, when in fact the chorus echoes "I hate Winnipeg." Seriously though, they are an amazing band from my town very dynamic with shades of folk, punk, and about a billion other genres.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - (something that goes like "Heyo, look at what I say-yo...".
Rack em Up - Johnny Lang
Monkey Man ~ The Rolling Stones
Useless Desires ~ Patty Griffin...a recomendation from Riesa. It's taken me some time to get used to the country twang in her voice because I really do not listen to much..or any...country but the song is really starting to grow on me.
It's My Turn To Fly - The Urge (from Titan A.E.)
Digital Love- daft punk
:thumbs_up
it's one of those songs I play really loud when I'm alone and sing to it, hence the reason I play it when no one else is home. :p I'm glad it's growing on you, I thought it might.
Bird Stealing Bread ~ Iron and Wine
my favorite on this Idril recommended cd.
I know, I know, it's a little shocking but I've never really cared for country, despite watching Hee Haw every saturday night when I was growing up. I do listen to some rock bands that have a definite country influence but as far as straight-up country...no. :p
I like that one too. I just love the complete pictures he's paints with his songs, they're all like little 4 minutes tragedies.
Finest Worksong ~ R.E.M.
Michael Jackson - Thiller
As Classic as Beethoven(sp?)...*Waits for retaliation*
Retaliation? Nonsense - I utterly agree.
Superman Theme - John Williams
Nothing in my way - Keane
Think I'm In Love ~ Eddie Money
The Colour Of Love - Beborn Beton
Woohoo, Uncle Virg...
Bended Knee - Boyz II Men
Just love 'em....
Celebrate You ~ Veruca Salt
Welcome to my morning~~~~ John Denver
I Want To Break Free ~ Queen
Dream Evil - DIO :D
Nakita---elton John
Mr. Queen - American Minor
I must say, I never heard of them before. :D
I do- I do in the sky--- the drowsy chaperone
