The first time I heard them, I thought they were way too busy, there was so much going on, musically, it was hard to make any sense of it but then I heard Crash Into Me and was hooked. I don't know why I was able to make sense of something I hadn't before simply because of one song but everything fell into place after I heard that.

And all this talk of Dave Matthews has made me change my playlist...

Showing some city pride (one great city is Winnipeg's motto) it would seem, when in fact the chorus echoes "I hate Winnipeg." Seriously though, they are an amazing band from my town very dynamic with shades of folk, punk, and about a billion other genres.

I know, I know, it's a little shocking but I've never really cared for country, despite watching Hee Haw every saturday night when I was growing up. I do listen to some rock bands that have a definite country influence but as far as straight-up country...no. :p
