    I dont read much Poetry (except Crichton Smith & Burns) I do however read War Poetry. A couple of my favourites are:

    Lads, you're wanted,
    Go and help.
    On the railway carriage wall
    Stuck the poster
    and I thought of the hands
    that penned the call.

    Fat civilians wishing they
    Could go and fight the Hun;
    Can't you see them
    Thanking God they're over forty one.

  3. Me as a scout

    Yes.. I am a girl scout... A very good one at that... Very adventurous and I guess that they know how good I am... haahaha...

    Hm... [ By the way that's the place where I met my special someone]

    I love knowing about new knots, can anyone help me find a good "knot-site"? Well, decorative knots are the best but I know practical one's as well... My room is filled with assorted scout stuff and I have so many ropes.

    Ever wondered how valuable lit texts are? Well, I never really knew until I had to carry out a small study in my dissertation recently.
    Lit texts have always been associated with the reading. Lit texts provide students with the vocabulary, grammar and creativity needed in writing. They're especially helpful to L2 students as they are able to carry out "literary borrowing". They model after the author and one can see the immediate improvement though they may not comprehend ...
