I finished this novel almost a year ago, and I can't remember if I'm even remembering it right and it's driving me nuts. Spoilers below:
I remember all the peasants are driven to the utopia they were going to build at the end. Irimias, the Horgos kid, and the other goon wander off in the woods and see a ghost. Then I remember they go and collect guns. It seems the narrative trails off at this point. Was something implied? Did something concrete happen with the peasants? Am I correct to remember that it ends at this point, with the fate of the peasants and Irimias' plan never being revealed?
