Impossible words game

Not sure if this is the correct sector for this; but it should be fun. Basically you post impossible words and their definition and we all rejoice. I'll start things off right:

Gallimaufry-

Definition of gallimaufry
gal·li·mau·fry [gal-uh-maw-free] Show IPA
noun, plural gal·li·mau·fries. Chiefly Literary.
1.
a hodgepodge; jumble; confused medley.
2.
a ragout or hash.

But that is real word. So I don't get the impossible bit?

My definitions of impossible would be-

incapable of being true, as a rumor.
utterly impracticable: an impossible plan.


So words that would appear untrue, or impossible, yet are real words. That's what I imagined the fun would be. "Check out this unlikely word!" Maybe it's a lame game.
