A Woman’s Poem

It is that time of the month when
I feel that hunger rise within.
Where are you now my beloved?
Please come and feed my vanity.
The hunger has grown intrepid
I need my monthly fix tonight.
Tell me how pretty do I look?
How charming do I make your world?
Make me worthy of existence,
Tell me you live and breathe for me.
Tell me I am more precious
Than all the women you have known.
Tell me how I am perfection
And other women full of faults.
It is that time of the month when
I do not deign to speak to you.
But if I am to condescend
And deem you worthy of my soul,
You must right now sit by my side
And aptly feed my vanity.
It is your duty to do so,
We signed a mental agreement
I gave you home and family,
I gave you pleasure of my sex
And as I wash these bloody sheets,
I beg you now to play your part
And come back home right now my love
And help me feed my vanity.
