What is poetry according to you?
What is it that you bring new to poetry and how do you see it evolve?

For me poetry is a literary opportunity to explore new meanings and words using already established ones. I do not adhere to to rules of grammer and spelling because I wish to liberate the sense. I also enjoy the breaking the patterns of routine language and give it a new aesthetic feel.

For example I would take the word 'cooped' and change it to 'cuped' in order to rhyme it with 'duped'.
or I would change 'brood' to 'brude' to rhyme it with 'crude'. Aesthetically they must look the same too.

I was wondering about your choice in spellings in some of your poems. I guess that makes sense. Sound is critical and it is good to break patterns and routine.

I don't think I bring anything new except for a different way to say the same things that others have been saying that I hope would be entertaining.

I remember a comparison that goes something like poetry is to speech as dance is to walking. I don't know who said that, but it rings true to me.

That sounds just perfect all we need now is a piano concerto to accompany the lyrics haha.
I could imagine reading peotry at the sound of a concerto music.
