What is poetry according to you?
What is it that you bring new to poetry and how do you see it evolve?
For me poetry is a literary opportunity to explore new meanings and words using already established ones. I do not adhere to to rules of grammer and spelling because I wish to liberate the sense. I also enjoy the breaking the patterns of routine language and give it a new aesthetic feel.
For example I would take the word 'cooped' and change it to 'cuped' in order to rhyme it with 'duped'.
or I would change 'brood' to 'brude' to rhyme it with 'crude'. Aesthetically they must look the same too.
