A journey across space and time,
Subconscious childhood memories
Of night trains lit by dim blue lights
ships traversing the dark wastes camel / horse train-like
somewhere, far in the distance,
light-houses and houses of light,
strange , beautiful structures,
evoking eerie , haunting memories
Of a distant hazy past, of caravans and caravanserais,
across strange lands, marching to a haunting music.

Years later, a young man travels,
Again, somewhere, far in the distant wastes,
structures stand out,
Speaking of grand historical marches
across desolate , rugged terrain
and of tender romances of bygone eras
The years (and the architects and sculptors touch) adding a delicate elegance,
a patina of pathos
To what would could have degenerated
into common place tragedies
Movies flash past,
Echoing the eternal human drama
of childhood love and warmth,
The delicate mysteries of youth
and the tender bitter-sweet romances of manhood.
These memories emerge across space and time
emerge lotus-like into the conscious,
forming an almost "mystical" whole,
A mix of the sacred and tender

A man travels,
Somewhere, far in the distance,
................
tears flow like tides from the man's eye
holographically evoking
A kaleidoscopic tsunami of memories,
Of love affairs and even three somes and four somes
Night camps at these haunted structures
Adding a layer to their stories,
Of wasted possibilities, of beautiful moments crushed
Of ruined lives,
Of mosaic like filigreed multi-hued moments
filled with guilt, shame, hurt
interlaced with a tender purple mix of romance, love
(and some lust to spice it up !!!!)
but crowned and permeated throughout by love and esctasy

He arrives,
Greeted by near and dear one
and a procession of strong,. beautiful, vibrant women,
Some close, some strangely familiar, Some new,
But all of them interesting and mysterious
And his eternal journey continues
