the time it slips
under our feet

acknowledgment

it does it quick
so quick it feels
like rain it is
dropping a breeze
to cool and ease

then slow
it curbs
cupid and flops
leaving us all
longing for more

time is a clock
it ticks and tocks
away it floss
regardless of
anything lush

it comes and goes
filling our toes
with excitment
rush
but then
it stops
without a sus
giving you no
intent or loss
