What once is gone

the one that know is gone,
fading to a backwash.
the one thats loved is lost,
gone chasing a heart in two.
the one forgiven has forgotten.
the one that lived in sunshine,
resides in shadows for now.
so if you come across the once radiant girl, that always a smile blessed her face. ask not, speak not about that smile. for her sullen eyes might find you, and show you the sorrow she bares.
