You posture sanctimony like prose
but I am callous to this dribbling stance.
I'd rather shed my feelings
into a bowl of rotting fruit
and let them fester on the brown spots
than concede you are right.

I always ''shed my feelings
into a bowl of rotting fruit
and let them fester on the brown spots''
before I concede my mum is right. :D
I like it. :)

There is such authority in this! You are getting better and better at saying much in a little space.

Good stuff, Nice simple and short, nice vocab used in this one, some lovely sounding words like 'callous' and 'sanctimony'. Keep writing!

Why should we concede when we are always right? That's how I feel about it, anyhow! ;)

There's honesty in this and great use of language. Perhaps synthetic, this reader still wonders who or what the antagonist was.
