View Full Version : Reality?

The nature of reality’s in flux, or so we’re told,
It twists the quantum physicists in knots.
For if the universe we’re in is not the only one,
It means that what we think is real is not.

The Lego of the multiverse, or quarks I do believe,
Scientists are calling, truth and beauty.
But I never met a quark that could steal away my heart;
To show this misconception is my duty.

And people who think string holds the multiverse together,
May be lying and endeavouring to fake it.
For reality exists only deep within ourselves,
Our perception is always what we make it.

Lovely bit of cosmological/philosophical speculation. Suppose reality is the mishmash of all the various visions we have of it at any given moment?

Indeed, my Prince, the nature of what constitutes reality for various individuals is invariably coloured by their native belief systems. It is a matter I ponder deeply upon, whilst conducting autopsies on the dead aliens I find in crop circles.

At least I hope they’re dead. If they’re not dead when I begin, they certainly are by the time I’ve finished.

Live and be well,

H

The thought about what is reality is so complex. Is it possible to define what building blocks our inner reality (that we make) is constructed with? Are they the same for all even if colours differ? Flexible loops of a string can be used to fake as much as to reflect, but in the end everything remains relative (however honest), art and beauty thrive on uncertainties proper to our multifold universe, a broad spectrum of some one primal beam of - intelligence? Perhaps when our aspiration/will focuses on this unity we are the closest to expressing a spark of truth. Thanks for this reading.
