Sooo... this one, you know, is for kids. My grammy used to tell my sisters and I a story about a mean ol' man named Farmer Bee, and let's just say I was inspired. This was written about two years back, and yea, it's a little silly. :D
Troubled Pixies
Troubled pixies
Cause lots of mischief,
And lots of mischief,
Is not all that fun,
So be mindful of pixies,
Those fiery pixies,
Will have a good laugh in the end!
Passable farmers
Make passable crops,
And like every farmer
They reap what they sow.
So be mindful of fairies,
They hide amongst berries,
And measure your wishes
By how much you want!
Said Farmer Bee one day,
While counting his pay,
"I wish this d*mn rye
Would grow taller than I-
For having small portions
Is a pain in the knee
And if I had more I could
Taste luxury!"
The pixies who heard him
They fumed and grew grim-
For having small portions,
Had never harmed them!
And what could be worse,
Then when in your purse
You reach in to discover
There's nothing within!

Cause lots of mischief,
And lots of mischief,
Is not all that fun,
So be mindful of pixies,
Those tempestuous pixies,
Will have a good laugh in the end!
The troubled pixies
They 'blessed' all his land,
And slowly Bee saw
His rye crop expand!
But before the harvest
He noticed with dread-
The rye stalk had grown
Eight feet o'er his head!
There was no tool ever,
Had ever existed,
That could harvest the crop
As its growing persisted!
When it touched the clouds,
Bee moaned in his strife,
- To cut it would take
Each d*mn day of his life!
The pixies were settling
But kept with their meddling
Such tempests they made
That the the rye stalks gave way!
It would have been fine,
Yet by morning Bee found
That his house and his barn
Had been crushed to the ground!
But blessed is the man
Who learns his lesson
For lessons help boys
Turn into men!
And likewise for women,
But those foolish girls!
Instead of high hay,
They pray,
"Large gems and pearls!"
