Right to answer the cinderella issue.
a lot of things but again most of my lovly resarch is a school *sniff* so first of all are you aware that cinderella is the most wide spread fairy/folk tale ther is with over 180 verisions world wide?
all of them he is a victim of abuse and usally the father is to blame either in the nicer ones he married the evil stepmother or in the worse ones he ehhm how to put this yupp marries cinderella herself or attempts to anyways.
Someof the stories are quite graphic if you think they are aimed at kids.
Anyway thats one contraversy the other is by a psychologist whose name I cant remember who has just submited resarch reacentlty that says allowing children to watch the Disney verision of cinderella and if they have a tendency to identify with cinderella increases the liklihood that these women will be victims of abusive relationships. In that they will belive good prevails over evil and will stay in the realtionship for longer hopping that since they did nothing wrong the abuser will be changed by their goodness or that they will be rescued.
