Vietnam you were still in the lonesome vortex of woe,
Yearned to shine happiness upon your continent.
Though no more war, no more massacre, no more human wails,
Crimson peace, yet to taste sweetest.

Once, you peeled your young skin for those bastards to jeer,
Bared your facade for those fiends to mottle bitter blood,
Now, longed to glow like a shimering Polar star
And dreamed to wade through inches of mud, humming your anthem.

A scar, buried deep in your tearful heart,
Gleamed endlessly im daylight and darkness;
A pair of tattered wings, so weak to flap,
And colors, tarnished, soon to completely fade...

O, Vietnam, I wept as I cradled you, humming your favourite lullabies!

I smear emerald upon my land
As I watch the grass gleams.
Bees in the morning and fireflies at night,
They come to taste tranquility
And listen to joy sing love songs.

Bluebells and lillies begin to blaze in happiness,
Beckoning the rivers to come to rest their fins
And whispering poems to the wandering clouds.
I smear cyan upon my zenith of dreams,
Yearning to see each dream unfold its wings to fly.

I smear my tiny universe with peace and feel each corpuscle pulsate.

O, hello winter, goodbye summer,
She tosses her dreams in the cold air for them to fly away.

The grass, still so green, her feet, she bares,
The daisies, still so young, their wings, they unfold.

The snow and the hails flip flop onto the cold ground
While the Polar star and moon pair up to Tango away.

The seas and lands together, silent
As they watch the invisible photons land on Earth.

The dying Milky way, once again, blossoms,
Filled with flamboyant berries and lively missletoes.

I, a poet, long to recite my Plantouns to this pretty angel.
