Does it ever feel likes it just you?
Like no one else is there?
Like you’re alone on an island, but the island is everywhere.
The gates of hell provide comfort in the shape of pain you can feel,
pain you can trust,
pain you can love with an undying breath of putrid glory, that spans the universe in a flash of glorious light, that illuminates all but the lowliest atom, sinking into the vast depths of an icy cavern at the core of the world.
Do you ever feel this?

I do.
I feel this, when I lie in my bed, when I lie in the world,
when the boundaries of my protruding arm that keeps all at bay come crashing down, leaving a gaping hole through which the evils of heaven flow into my mind and consume the one place I can call home.
I feel this.
You don’t.
Wonder fills me in an immersion of blinding darkness, a ceramic tile crashes to the floor; everyone hears it,
everyone but me.

Cheers,
Louis
