As simple as the title is, post a quote daily. It doesn`t have to specifically be a poet`s verse or related to Art.
Write the quote, who said it, and who he/she is.

My quote today is

"A diplomat.. is a person who can tell you to go to hell in such a way that you actually look forward to the trip"- Caskie Stinnett, American writer/editor

As soon as war is declared it will be impossible to hold the poets back. Rhyme is still the most effective drum. - Jean Giraudoux is a French novelist, diplomat, and essayist.

A true poet does not bother to be poetical. Nor does a nursery gardener scent his roses.
- Jean Cocteau was a French poet, novelist, dramatist.. and so on lol

my favorite quote of his is "Le pire drame pour un poète, c’est d’être admiré par malentendu."

translation: The worst tragedy for a poet is to be admired through being misunderstood

"Persistence! Persistence is deciding to either achieve your goal, or die trying" - I don't remember who said it. I have it in my signature in another forum.

By Travis Wright maybe?

And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. - Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the U.S..

The purpose of poetry is to remind us
how difficult it is to remain just one person,
for our house is open, there are no keys in the doors,
and invisible guests come in and out at will.

What I'm saying here is not, I agree, poetry,
as poems should be written rarely and reluctantly,
under unbearable duress and only with the hope
that good spirits, not evil ones, choose us for their instrument.

I like romance because it reminds me I can prance
and when it finishes I can go back to my normal dance
my self again
who says normal was dense?
