Hi everyone. I would like to learn other languages, namely, one of: Greek, Latin or Russian.
I would like to know what is the best way to go about it. Should I get a book to teach myself from? I'm worried then that I will get the pronunciations wrong. Picking up a course at university is not an option for me.
Could you recommend any good books?
Thank-you for your help

Hi qspeechc, and welcome to the forum.

Why don't you try these book plus CD editions? There are lots of them on amazon, and from the ratings there you can see which are really helpful.

Well dear, I`m certain good are efficient in anyway, but when it comes to learning languages I suggest auditory means so that you get into the right pronunciations.

Translation would be productive and vital to you. However, using that Google Translation is just a approximate one.Another alternative is to buy a translation book, and I covet you a windfall to master the languages.
