Ok, eventhough I always falied to achieve my resolutions every year (so pathetic me :bawling: ) , I still like making a list every year. Maybe I'll get tired of setting up a yearly target one day. But this year, I still want to make one and torture my self in the first months of next year.

Ok some stufss in my list for next year (so far) are:

1. Do some saving
2. Trying (at least try) to build a serious personal relationship.
3. Having a pet...goldfish for a start (this is easy :D)
4. Be more attentive to my close friends and family
5. Read more books, watch more movies, and listen more music.
6. Getting a new job (hopefully)

Ok..that's all so far.

So what's yours folks?

I pledge to be second only to the devil in my evil and world overtaking aspirations and actions. Hehe, beware feeble humans.

I'll add my signature to numbers 2, 5 (always), and 6.
I'd add to pass every subject available in college this next year.

New Year's Resolutions:
1. Try harder at school,
2. save money more often,
3. be more thoughtful to friends and family,
4. finish my play by February.

1. Cut down to a pack a day (cookies, that is)
2. Get around to setting a date
3. Finish the dissertation
4. Drink more water!

Simon - you've got some serious work to do. I know some people who are going to give you a real run for your money. ;)

Crisaor - every subject available?? I hope you go to a school that only offers four total classes per year, or you'll never get to leave the library...

NO!! you're doing it all WRONG! you should make note of every crappy thing you do that you know you'll never change because new year's resolutions are impossible!

1. I will continue to be at least five minutes late for absolutely everything, always
2. I will continue to record all phone numbers and addresses on tiny little scraps of paper, later to be lost in my handbag, and, should they survive the handbag, in my house somewhere..... who knows where... maybe there's like a 'little scraps of paper' version of the underwear knomes... either way, hundreds of little scraps of paper are around here SOMEWHERE.
3. I will continue to be completely unable to put my hair up - without at least half of it coming down later

My New Year resolution is not to have a resolution... After so many attempts and tries, I have realised that they only serve to make me feel like I have failed... yet again and I don't want to carry that burden...

I am kind of liking Faye's idea of new year resignations though... If I am who I am, why not celebrate it?? ;)

*sobers up as she remembers a friend's recent comment: 'I know you are silly but do you have to celebrate it so often?'*
Hmph!

I'm there with you baddad, except I'd change it to the more refined "cocktails".

I know I know. You're right Snukes, and now I'm forced to issue another resolution:
* Be more realistic when doing next year's resolutions.
That ought to do it. ;) Seriously, the "normal" thing would be to pass 6 subjects. If I make that, I'll be happy.

Thanks Sub.

well it IS 2005 here now, and it's yet another year like any other. Another year of living by impulse, much to the horror of some of the people around me. Anothe year as an irresponsible member of 'society'... hehe excellent.
