As most of you will probably not be online when the New Year begins, I thought I'd come in a bit earlier with all the best wishes for your New Year. May everything work out fine for you.

And here's a special gift. It's a sketch that has gained cult status in Germany. It was brought from Britain to Germany by a TV producer, and meanwhile several TV stations broadcast it every New Year's Eve. It was filmed in a theatre in the 50s, so the laughter is real. It's always shown in English (mostly with a little introduction in German). Enjoy.

I should have known!

I watch it every year. And we acted it out at New Year's Eve two years ago. Hilarious!

Hm, what does that prove? That British, Swedish and German people share a common sense of humour after all? At least a little bit? Someone should do some research ..:D :D :D
