I enter my house tonight and my brother says sarcastically "Hey, do you know an Adorero Dio?" and what do you know but in his hand is a package. I open it up quickly and there smiling back at me and already rambling of about all his great adventures was Larry! I finally convinced him to settle down (seeing as it is 10 o'clock at night and time for me to be in bed) and he told me his trip was wonderful.He is smiling as aways and will be sleeping in an old doll bed I dug out just for the occasion. Tomorrow we will be going to a homeless feeding in the morning where it will be Christmas all over again- I'll see if I can't get a few pictures (if I can get my camera to work :crash: ). Then we will be going to see the beach if the weather is right and sometime in the next few days go to see a museum. But for now, both of us are quite tired and are heading for bed.

Sounds like Larry is going to have a great visit in Ventura, and good to hear that you're making him do some charity work. I don't think it matters if a person's actual name is on the package. I still get all kind of crap addressed to many of the previous occupants here. I put those back in the mail box. Also, I get things addressed to me in my maiden name - I am not sure how they managed to track me to my current address with my maiden name when I got married two whole addresses ago.

and I get junk addressed to "Resident" sometimes. It could be addressed to I don't know, Hannah Banana and they would still drop it off here.

It was a gorgeous day, we went into a museum across the way after wards- no pics allowed inside! It was pretty nice but sadly undocumented. Larry was very excited because the next day we were supposed to go to the beach...but sadly California weather took a turn and it rained all weekend!
So he decided to pose in front of a picture to show he can still relax at a California beach without ever being near that water!

While a was on my laptop yesterday evening i was startled by some noise coming from my bedroom, which i decided to go investigate. My heart jumped when out popped Larrys cousin George, who had snuck in via the bedroom window!

George is Larrys mischivious Cousin who vanished to Wales to dance with some fairies on top of a hill somewhere there. He had snuck onto a boat and hollyhead to come and visit Larry and got a bit irate when he discovered that Larry was off on his own little adventure! He didnt believe me so i had to show him evidence. Got very upset at the pictures of Larry in Disneyland!

So seeing as he had come all that was for nothing i told him he could stay a few nights (which he readily agreed to!)
So he decided we should watch a movie together i left him to choose!

I sent him away just today. I waited another week because once again she failed to send me some other pictures she took, but I just gave up. I send her lots of e-mails and messages, etc. but she never sent the pictures of that one night after the party when I first got him. I even had to put the pictures she posted here on the disc. Sorry Addy, I'm kinda irritated at you. I'm allowed to be. I know you. :p But it's all over now.

I decorated the back of the envelope and Addy did the front, but then my mom said the post office people wouldn't like all the junk all over it so we put that envelope in another bigger envelope so it will br a little funky for Granny, ha ha. Here's the front:

Guess who showed up today? Larry is here and we had a wonderful time catching up on his travels. He really wants to see motherhubbard and her clan and get to know the chickens. I've plans to take him to see the wonders of The Country Music Capital, Branson, Mo next week. He said he wasn't really into country music but there is also a Beatles show that I'll take him to. Dick Clark's American Bandstand theater is on the Branson strip and he said he might want to look in on it. If he gets homesick, we'll go see River Dance and maybe that'll help. Plus we have all the sights to see around the Ozarks. Larry seemed a little tired from his trip so he's taking a nap. He is a very engaging little guy so I really look forward to our time together.

Take your time! Larry needs a rest! I think a few weeks in the Ozarks will be good for him. He has to recover from the fast pace of New York and Chicago (he went to Chicago, right?) and California. Make sure he has ample time to appreciate the beauty of the area.

I was down that way last summer. He is making me a little jealous right now and a little sad because I wish I could back there right now! :) I'm even more jealous because I was only an hour away from Branson and I never went! :brickwall So, he will have to give me a full report when he drops on by here! :D

Hey everyone, Larry is enjoying the Ozark Mountains right now. He's spending some time in Little Rock at a meeting with Poppy but he'll be back tomorrow. He seems to be having a pretty good time hanging out with Motherhubbard's brood and checking out the chickens. He also seems to like Bud longnecks...I've been worried about him and Poppy out at the creek but they do get along well. I'll be posting pictures as soon as browneyedbailey gets the downloaded and sent to me. I hope to get Larry to B-Mental by St. Pat's day.

First off I want to say that I didn’t sign up for a visit from Larry because I did not want the responsibility. I think it is a great idea and it sounds like something it would be fun to be a part of, but this is a hectic time for me and I doubt that I will be participating in any such activities until after graduate school. That’s a long time from now.

Now I feel I should explain for my mother since she hasn’t been on in some time, but I’m not real sure just what to say. She has been out of state for a long time. I’m not real sure just how long but maybe two months. I know that ideally Larry would have been mailed on to the next person before the trip. I have mentioned the matter to my mother, but I have actually only talked with her three times in the past two months. I will see what I can do about it this week.

Finally, I hate that there has been this big disruption in Larry’s trip. This situation makes me very nervous and uncomfortable and I don’t know how to approach anyone here or there about it. I really am sorry. I do hope that everyone will continue to be patient. If you have a question or something please feel free to PM me, but I want to ask that everyone leave Bailey out of it. I don’t want her to feel pressure or guilt or anything about the situation as she has nothing to do with it and no power to do anything about it. I’m glad that she likes coming here to talk about books and visit with people her age in a relatively safe and kind environment. I just don’t want her to feel as uncomfortable as I do. -

I just dont want it to break out into a moaning fest like it almost did with the Calif sit, which is highly unfair to the people involved, or not involved in this case. I know your Mam is off doing a course, so i understand that she is really busy. I got a new camera! I was hoping that Larry wouldn't make it to me before I got it, and luckily, he is on hiatus somewhere!! Hopefully, he will make it to the Tennessee Valley before the end of summer. If not, well, that's cool. I am just so excited that I got a new camera. And I have this photo editing software and it is so much fun to take pictures and manipulate them...I can't wait till Larry gets here!!

Sadly Larry was not able to go on a plant tour, we couldn't find PPE to fit Larry (pictures to come).

Our first morning has been a whirlwind and we've only been up an hour.

I wake Larry up early to go on a bike ride:

Larry didn't get very far, he rode about 20 feet before he realized we had a flat tire. Unfortunately to make room for Larry I took all the flat fixin' gear out of my bag, and since we were about 10 miles from home we decided to call a cab. Actually, I am glad that you did that because I wasn't real sure about what I was supposed to do with Larry. I knew I was supposed to take some pictures and post him, but I didn't know the specifics of the CD and all that jazz.
