Lets make nuclear bombs
One you keep, one for me
And one we put at earth’s womb
Worth of life not more then a penny
So much money with too less humanity;
Is reason enough to make a nuclear bomb
And destroy earth from the womb
Hand in hand, but promises broken
Loud Marriages but love unspoken
Is reason enough to make a nuclear bomb
And destroy earth from the womb
Gardens without children
And children without parents
Is reason enough to make a nuclear bomb
And destroy earth from the womb
Flower blooms silently and fall
Progressive human become to tall
Is reason enough to make a nuclear bomb
And destroy earth from the womb
Lets make nuclear bombs
One you keep, one for me
And one we put at earth’s womb

Wow! I don't think we can ever have enough of such humane expression!
I was particularly moved by:
Hand in hand, but promises broken
Loud Marriages but love unspoken
Is reason enough to make a nuclear bomb
And destroy earth from the womb
Gardens without children
And children without parents
Is reason enough to make a nuclear bomb
And destroy earth from the womb

maybe we should start making nuclear bombs. a loud enough wake-up call, don't you think?

and maybe only then can we be truly happy.

their was a kid near my house who built a nuclear reactor this year and won the science fair with it. it really works, he was forced to turn it off when it started to get to hot and get ready to blow up, don't ask how he made it, because i don't know.
I absolutely love this poem because it agrees with what my thought process is, "why have a weapon which will blow up the world if it is used"

Very good poetry here, aashishameya! My favourite part is:
Gardens without children
And children without parents
Is reason enough to make a nuclear bomb
And destroy earth from the womb

World is not that bad. Look at the brighter side of the things.
life's happiness is lost...
I don't understand which happiness we used to have which is no longer here?

That repeating lines made the poem for me. You structured your poem and yet allowed your voice, the personal Aash to come through, and the poem flows and is not bound by the form. I think this is my favorite from you.

Well the secret to happiness is hope, and though some may find it futile, hope is the fuel of change. In my World Politics class we had to write an essay on globalization. and the different theories of it. (Globalization being the disintegration of boarders) The one I like was a hyperglobalist, Marxist theory. I liked it because it seemed the only one based on evidence. Basically it says the world is being taken over by corporations, that through the removal of trade barriers and contracts like NAFTA will begin to widdle away nation sovernty which should eventually cess to exist.
Since corporations are not accountable to anyone outside their share holders, they will continue to sell poorly made products and take advantage of the third world, the third world and west poor will raise up and over through the corporations. As you can see the seeds of the revolution that have been planted in the last 10 years with the Bolivian water revolution, the raise of Marxism in Latin America, and the continuous communist revolutions that spread the lengths of Africa.
Point being? That the world is as happy or as miserable a place that you wish it to be. If you want to dismiss hope or the prospect of change, then you will think the world should just irradiate itself as the species is hopeless, if you wish to think that tomorrow we are a day closer to a better soceity, then save yourself a jump from a distance and begin to help motivate change as best you can.

i know one should look to the brighter side of the things, but after knowing darkness, we know what is light....

No one is asking you to be oblivious of dark things, and live your life in a good little world of your own. Just try to appreciate the good things in human-beings too. And the world is not all that bad. :)
And I still have not understood what did you mean by the 'lost things' in your previous post. I am very curious to know.

I know good things about human being and wrote some poems on it too...but its really ironic that when ever some one write about dark part or bad things, people read it more, comment it more and retort it more, but very few people like to read on happy face of life...(read some of my poems on same)
now lost thing- life's beauty lies in little-little thing, we do, we enjoy...as i mentioned children in garden or be home with parents...to see a blooming flower, smell aroma of earth...that we are losing, we are searching happiness in money, in shopping malls, pub etc...i am not saying earning money is bad, or going to such places are bad, but we should not forget the real beauty..
hope now you can understand how much optimistic or pessimistic i am..
thanks for comments
