Avian flu and new Farm Regulatory laws related. $5/dozen by local farm providers now. I will be scaling down my egg breakfasts accordingly. May have to buy some chxns.

One of my frustrations is that I didn´t manage to become vegetarian. Meat of all sorts and eggs prices have increased greatly here also, with a two digit inflation. Hardly it eggs any more, because of intolerance. Always wondered and envied the robust Nord American stomachs that tolerate FRIED eggs for breakfast. I hope you find a good substitute, scaling a bit down might be positive for cholesterol.

Re: cholesterol... I have averaged eating 5-dozen eggs a month for more years than I can remember and my latest value is 144 from my blood donation recap letter results dated 2/8/2022... which is in the acceptable range... It's never been high for some reason (genetics?).

re: scorpions - a true story: about 20 years ago my then only grandson and I took a short walk up the road and stopped at a small hillside of shale and absent-mindedly took of a few hand-sized sheet-chunks of loosened shale off the side to reveal the scorpions; 2-black scorpions just minding their own business... we left them alone... hope they found a new hide-out.

... a different Aurora than I imagined. Off topic, but I just remembered the Aurora Bridge in Seattle when I was a child :) We lived nearby for a while - then moved in to my paternal Grandfather's home (a hoot and many hollers away) after he left for Alaska when my Grandmother passed on... then my maternal Grandmother and 2-Aunts and Uncle moved in to our old home by the Aurora Bridge where we visited quite often.

All is well... officiated over a memorial last Friday for a church friend and gave some parting words to her bereaved family... then polished up a 20 minute (or so) talk on Eternal Perspectives which I gave Sunday in church, so I guess I'm still pondering this mortal coil of ours.

Been severely sleep deprived. Lol - yup, definitely some caffeine: "there are roughly 10 milligrams of caffeine per teaspoon, 5*–10 times less than coffee." ref... https://coffeeaffection.com/how-much-caffeine-is-in-cocoa-powder/ and my drink is usually: 1 - tablespoon cocoa and 2 - tablespoon hot chocolate mix in about 375 ml 2% milk mixed with 375 ml water. I used to double the cocoa but cut back :)

Yes, unfortunately real. All I was doing was walking in a store when I felt something like a pop... X-rays negative so just a ligament in my instep that decided to act up. $90 USD later I was good to go with a foot wrap and OTC meds and Lidocaine patch. Wish I could be inactive... stuff to do.
