I totaly agree that the book is amazing. Hugo's writting is a pleasure to read. The characters are just stunning.Valjean , javert , fantine, cosette, eponine, marius, enjolras,ect.they all play aroll in the book and the way Hugo writes this book is amazing. His message comes out clearly. Every character demonstrates a problem in the world at the time of hugo.I'm only 12 years old and I read the book when I was about 11. I heard about it and knew about it just from listening to my dad play his cd once in a while. Then years later I finally pick up the cd and I recongnize a few songs such as Master of the house,castle on a cloud, and on my own. Then I picked up the unabrigedversion of les mis and i read it.let me tell you what..I LOVE IT !!!!!!!
