If you think this book is boring, and stupid, and pointless, then you don't understand it. Every detail in Huck Finn is aimed at satirizing a specific aspect of society or human nature, and you just have to do a little analysis to uncover that. I agree that it's a boring story and if you're just reading it, it sucks. If you're analyzing it, however, it can get pretty interesting and is actually quite profound.
