I certainly don't remember every word, but I think it was not too hard a novel.

Overall, Charles Dickens' language can read simply, but he does use a few words and some British slang that may confuse you. With the slang, we can certainly help, if you have trouble (as sometimes even I have trouble, too), but you seem to write beautifully in English; I think you can do it.
