    Lightbulb The Book

Winston and Julia have finally been caught.

They first went to O'Briens house, and got the book. The thought police went through this whole big, elaborate scheme to catch two people. This book was designed to seek out, and destroy thought criminals. I was wondering if 'The Book' was actually mass produced, as stated in it, or if it was only made this one time, in order to catch Winston and Julia?

O'Brien claims to have collaborated in writing the book. I'm unsure if the book was actually mass produced, it seems like it would be an effective method of seeking out thought criminals though.

Geesta...if you think about it it wouldn't make sense for them to mass produce the book because they were only trying to catch technically one person at a time. Like we discussed in english...we think that Big Brother tried to catch just Winston with the book.
