I like Mary Shelley's rather unassuming, if alarmist, masterpiece. I like it more than the Hollywood versions of it which have mildewed the poor classic, but I'll pass for now, with an occasional whine for The Collector along the way. I will reconsider in three years, if that is the time limit.
I think it's sold.

Wow, I didn't know Frankenstein had taken the lead. I think it's a fantastic novel. I've read it twice, so this should be an interesting disgussion for me; I hope I can do more than sit in; hope I can recall the book and add my own humble opinions. I always find it is such a thought-provoking story...I recently listened to the audio abridgement; I don't like abridgements but considering I read it twice already I figured I could savor the essense of the text...it was quite good.
