OMG. OMG OMG. Super OMG. Super super OMG.
At times like this my general reaction to cool things has shifted from something like "wow", "woah" or "oh my..." to OMG and the variations listed above.
The moon's been coming out for me to look at the past couple of days. I've been playing around with my different lenses. Still haven't got the hang of the 3x zoom, it's a tricky little thing. We can see the craters with such definition it almost made me cry. I
Just a little song I thought of while walking the dog. I couldn't be bothered to write it down on paper.
It started because I'm not pretty sure that the other thing I can see is Ursa Major and not Ursa Minor. Ursa Minor has a longer tail. Well. I say Ursa Major. What I actually see is the bit called the Plough (Big Dipper in the US) but number 3 in my things to see in space flash cards is Ursa Major which contains the dipper. I prefer saying Ursa Major anyway, it's so much nicer.
I should probably blog about seeing me family yesterday, before I forget anything important but I don't want to write a long blog like that. Instead I want to write about the round thing I found.
I say round thing because I'm not an expert. I barely count as an amateur. I wasn't planning to stargaze tonight. I don't have enough space in my room to keep the telescope set up all the time and I don't want it to get dusty. I don't want to take it outside either. It wouldn't be as simple
So it was my birthday the day before yesterday now. It happened to coincide with Good Friday this year. Since Easter varies every year about half of my birthdays have been during some point in the Easter holidays and half of the time they haven't. I'm 25 now. Scary. And no. I'm not writing this to publically announce my birthday and be expecting tons of messages saying happy birthday. I'm just making a statement, because if I don't state it then I can't tell you what happened.
So.
So. There were some things I forgot.
Firstly I told you I found my pen but not how. As we were leaving I spied it on the table by the door (the one where shots were originally being handed out). The lid was off and I know those pens dry out quite quickly. Also I was concerned about the germs that may have been on it by that time.
When we first arrived I noticed something mum didn't. An ornamental wooden 50 and as we were leaving I noticed people had signed it so I stopped
