Its great to see so many people blogging and more and more people joining in the world of blogging. So i thought it would be a nice idea to do an entry as a thumbs up to all those that take the time to type up their entries. As we say in Dublin "fair play to ya!" Its a little community here in Litblog.
The variety of entries is amazing, and there is a much different quality to the blogs here than there are on the likes of Bebo, Myspace or facebook. You know why that is? because everyone here is more relaxed than on those pages, and thats because we are all a bunch of strangers that are very comfortable with each other. most of those blogs are grouped with people they know and instead of wanting to make fools of themselves, they shy away from being open like everyone here is.
It amazes me sometimes that the greatest friends a person could make are those they have never met. God knows i've made some wonderful friends here since i joined. some unfortunately have been absent for way to long. (so if you are hovering there as a guest, get you bum back here!!! you are missed! )
I'd also like to take the opertunity to point out some of my favourite blogs....

B-Mental you crack me up and make me worry about you at the same time (worry as in i hope your okay worry)

Countess keep those pics coming! ya know the ones i'm talking about! I hope everything gets better for you soon.

Mtpspur I love the way you write your entries. you make the reader think that they are sitting in front of you as you tell them how things have been lately. Hope you get well soon.

Ladywentworth you should blog more often and get your bum to Eire missy! We have lots of haunted castles!

    You forgot me. Only kidding. Yes there are a lot of new bloggers. I can't keep up with it all. Plus my blog gets pushed off the front page so qickly now. I notice that the responses drop off once you're off the front page. I don't blog too often, but my entries do seem to generate a lot of responses.

    I love the blogs! I love how intelligent the blogs here are and as said, how honest and open they are. I haven't even been on LitNet for that long and it makes me sad that I probably will never meet a lot of the people I talk to on here.

    I find that there's something so...what's the word? Can't think of it (You can tell I've been slacking on my reading can't you ) It's just nice to talk to people you've never met about things, and because you don't know them on a one to one level you don't mind telling them your problems and getting their advice. It's also nice to have a record of your life, even if it's boring like mine .

    I appreciate your noticing my blog and giving me valuable ammunition to use to get the long suffering wife off the computer so that my public may peruse the latest happenings. I think you hit the nail on the head about the comfort level here. On the other hand I have no interest in blogging elsewhere. I tend to stick with what works and rarely look over the fence. It is a very nice mix of people here. Rich

    What a nice blog entry, Niamh. Thank you for mentioning my blog and your kind words. There really is something different here when it comes to blogging, can't put my finger on it, but the feel is different here. This is a friendly place with such kind people, you actually do feel 'at home' here. I am always glad to read the blogs -- some really cool stuff happening, or if someone is down, or just an interesting tale (tail in Sweet's case ) to tell.... we have great bloggers! Go blogs Go!

    Aww Baki ! But its your random bakiness(as i've come to call it! see you even got your own work!) that makes your blog unique! Sorry Virg! I said i'd forgotten people! I also forgot Bluebiird whose blog is one of the first one i read. Its very hard to remember everyone when your mind is telling you to go to bed! Mtpspur! Dont go using this as an excuse to hog all the internet time! Or if you do...dont mention my blog to the long suffering one least she signs on...but you should let her sign on would be nice for us to get to know the mrs behind mtpspur (well get to know her better i should say!)

    Aw, thanks, Niamh, for mentioning mine! I know I really should blog more often. I am naughty that way. I was thinking about that the other day, actually. I have this here and I am hardly ever writing anything. I suppose it is time to start being more faithful, huh? Yes, I know! I must make it over there one of these days!! I guess Ireland will be my next goal, trip wise. I have 2 that I need to take first, though. Of course, if I can get things back in order like I had them before the job situation, I was planning on relocating to England for awhile. So, if that can still happen, it will make my trip there that much easier for me!
