At The Gym ... etc.

Before I talk about the gym, I need to explain my concept of 'bubbles'.
Sometimes, when a person is in their own little world, they actually have an imaginary 'bubble' that surrounds them -- much like the concept of a force-shield (Star Trek style, lol). That is how I view people when I watch them waiting for their turn to see a doctor, sitting on a bus, sitting on a park bench, you get the picture ... Thousands and millions of bubbles, all bobbling their way through life's paths ...
I'll elaborate more on my bubble philosophy at a future blog entry, but I did want to explain this thought (before someone accuses me of being a bubble-head) ... ha! [Beat'cha to it!]

Anyway, at the gym, I have my own private little bubble that I create by sticking on my headphones, cranking up the volume and sweatin' to ...

[not the oldies]

but to an assortment of butt-kickin' motivational stuff performed by Rez, Kurt, and Layne -- Wahoooooo!

The eliptical trainer never looked this good!

As I flay my arms and pump those legs, I realize that there are lots of bubbles in the gym tonight. Some of the folks look like they could use the air conditioning turned on (hey -- just open a window already --- this IS Canada, eh) ...

The bubbles all float around, orderly, doing their own thing, and life goes smoothly. It really is amazing.

I was on the treadmill, and realized something went wrong when a bunch of people in their bubble kept up the machine that they were on, but turned their heads in my direction. I didn't realize that I had sang along to "The Great Destroyer", and according to Billy**, I literally yelled along with Trent (NIN) that one line ...

Ummmm, yeah, ok... so I am into fitness ....

Summer's a-coming, and I want to fit into last year's stuff, said the chocoholic-a-go-go.

Goin' now to get some chocolate, now that someone went and mentioned it.

tum tee tum da da dum

Chocolate Blog entry looming in the not so distant future, too, I might add, but here is a picture to tide me over:

Yummy! and something to wash it down with?

Oh I do love chocolate, if I eat it early, it curbs my appetite for the day; if I eat it mid-day, it makes me feel like accomplishing something; if I eat it late, I dream movies that would make Spielberg jealous...

And there you have it....

Love,

K♥z

Ha ha, ain't it great?

**Billy is my bestest best of best buds ... as you may recall from past bloggaroony entries.

Bloggaroony == a term used by B-Mental and moi to encapsulate the drawlings that go on in our little cubbyhole here at LitNet known as our Blogs ...

A fellow chocolate lover. I suffer withdrawal symptoms three days before payday when the funds are low and have been known to be cranky. Why I never tease the smokers.

Oh yes, the bubble. I know about the bubble. some people, however, do not respect the bubble. Like at work, there is such a thing as standing too close. And as far as getting into a workout, there's a guy at my gym who puts his hands in the air and get's all into his treadmill routine so those people should just deal - what do they not listen to music also? Some people just get into it.

Ha ha, the same thing might have happened to me

As for chocolate - do you know what my favourite is? It's a special brand, made of milk chocolate with a cruchy sugar coating inside filled with real cherry brandy or pear brandy - de-li-cious! Oh wait, there's a voice calling from inside my chocolate drawer - coooming!
