day in a life

Well tomorrow my son is going to his dads house for the weekend. I am going with my brother and my dogs on Saturday to my stepdads cabin, he and my mom will be there and they asked if we wanted to come cause it's my brothers birthday. I'm sure it will be nice, the dogs can run around and I can hopefully read a bit. I just got my list of books for next semester and I have bought 13 of nineteen I need to buy, I own one and my brother one. But that is alot of books to read in 3 months.

My brother is clearing out the apartment he had with his ex, she is with her parents so he is gonna use the chance to get his stuff. She was so mad because he is still planning on leaving that she broke a picture he had of captain Kirk. She is more than a little crazy. He is staying at the apartment while she is away but by the end of the month he'll move in with me and my boys.

Well I'm gonna try and read as much as I can before school starts because there is so much to read in the months to come.

My son told me yesterday that he wants me to get married, 'it's so nice to get married'. He also wants siblings but that is not an option, at least on my side. He also said the funniest thing, we took a walk through the cemetery a few days ago and he tried to read what says on my dads headstone. He read his name and that he was a teacher. Beneath that was his date of birth and the day he died and my son said that this is his phone number. I had so much trouble not to laugh but it was just so funny. Then he sang to him after I had walked away, very sweet.

He keeps talking about missing someone, he asks me a lot if I miss my dad and grandma and stuff like that. Then yesterday we watched X-men 3 and after that we were talking and he told me that he only misses Professor X and Cyclops.

The things that go through a kids mind are amazing.
