day in a life

The weather here on the ice has been pretty bad, it has calmed down now but last night there was a storm and a big part of the country had no electricity for hours. it was OK here but the lights flickered a lot last night. Tonight I have a few candles burning and one is in a big bowl but it's the only one that flickers, odd. All the other ones are still but this one flickers.

School will start tomorrow, I am excited but also a little nervous, don't know anybody in this class with me so I'll see if I'll meet anyone new or maybe someone that was with me last semester but I didn't know. I am gonna try and be a little bit more open and talk to people. My sister in law is 25 today and she invited us for a little birthday thingy. It was nice, they have a friend who lives in the same building a very nice guy ( I am NOT interested in him) I have met a few times and I will be in contact with about the cat they have and he will catsit, they are going to Italy for 6 months. My son really liked him and asked me on the way home if he could be my boyfriend. It's funny how this is always on his mind, everybody is a 'couple' around him except me so he thinks it's kinda odd.

I'm gonna go to bed early tonight since I need to get up early to go to school!
